Ahwaan the He-Man of TV turns Bollywood’s ‘Happy Husband’

This strapping actor with conventional good looks won a contest called ‘He-Man’ aired on STAR One. He subsequently starred in several TV shows and was associated with dance master Shakur as his assistant director where he trained Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor amongst others! Now, Ahwaan is marking his entry in Bollywood with ‘Happy Husbands’ under the Phenomenal Crafts Ltd. banner directed by debutante Anay.

Ahwaan has a pivotal role in the comedy entertainer ‘Happy Husbands’, the comedy entertainer also stars Kurush Deboo, Mohit Ghai and Archana in the lead. Debutante director Anay is also the music director, has done the film’s screenplay, dialogue, written the lyrics along with Sarim Momin and rendered his voice for the film’s music.

Talking about his debut film, Ahwaan says, “Well, ‘Happy Husbands’ is a fantastic movie about husbands, their philosophy towards life and what they go through on a personal level after they are married. It’s not a slapstick comedy but a slice of life, light comedy. Some Husbands Love their wife, Some Husbands Love their Life but Happy Husbands love LIFE and WIFE both. The treatment of the movie is unique and interesting. Both male and female of all ages everywhere will easily relate to the movie.”

Well, Ahwaan has been a part of the entertainment and glamour industry for long time now. However, ‘Happy Husbands’ is his first big screen break. Talking about his passion, Ahwaan says, “I always wanted to be an actor and it’s always been my dream from my childhood. It is tough to get a break on the big screen especially for those who are not a part of this industry. So, I am very very excited.”

‘Happy Husbands’ releases this Friday.
